Popcorn Panic 

Hit the streets for the 48th annual Popcorn Panic, a can't-miss Valpo tradition! Each year, over 1,400 runners join in on this community favorite. Choose between a timed 5K or 5-mile race, in teams or as individuals. *Strollers are welcome, but please leave pets at home!

Program Details

• Date: Saturday, September 12, 2026
• Time: 5-mile: 7:20 am / 5K: 7:30 am
• Fee: $35 until 8/14, $40 after 8/14. Same day registration $45
• Register by: 8/14 to guarantee shirt size. No shirt option saves $5

There is no on-site registration. You must register online.

Team Competition – Participants are encouraged to form teams! Teams must have at least 4 finishers to be eligible for team award. Winner is determined by computer analysis of the overall place of the top 4 team members. Team members are also eligible for individual awards.
