Lit'l Kernel Puff Run

Let the kids be part of the Popcorn Festival excitement with this special downtown fun run just for them! Depending on age, kids will dash 100 - 300 yards and earn a t-shirt and participation ribbon. Parents, please note: you won't be able to run alongside your child, but the VU Women's Basketball team will be there to guide them to where you'll be waiting at the finish line!

Program Details

• Ages: 2 - 9
• Date: Saturday, September 12, 2026
• Time: 8:30 am (approximate start time, we will start once the 5k and 5-mile races are done)
• Location: Downtown Valparaiso
• Fee: $16 until 8/14, $23 starting 8/14
• Please note: 2-3 year olds start running first at 8:30 AM, then 4-5 year olds, and so on.

*Due to the 5K/5M races taking place that morning, it is extremely difficult to have packet pick-up on site for this race.  We encourage everyone to pick up their packets on Friday.
