Newly renovated Tower Park is centrally located at Franklin St and Evans St, just a quarter-mile west of Calumet Ave. The park is so-named because it is in the shadow of the city's main water tower.
This park features Samardzija Field, an all-weather turf youth baseball field. Playground equipment at this park is made entirely from recycled plastic and is a favorite of younger children. The park boasts pickleball and basketball courts where pick-up games are played at all hours, and a picnic shelter available to rent. Timed lights are available for the courts until 10 pm.
