This 122-acre park is one of Valparaiso’s premier facilities, with activities that include hiking, fishing, and boating. Plan your next family or neighborhood event at Rogers Lakewood Park! There are a total of 4 shelters located at Rogers Lakewood Park available for rental.


Whether your passion is hiking, biking, fishing, boating, picnicking, or simply catching a few rays in the sunshine, Rogers Lakewood provides something for every member of the family. Available activities and facilities include: disc golf course, Discovery Day Camp, hayrides, Lakewood Park Store, rentals for rowboats ($6 per hour), paddle boats ($6 per half hour), and fishing poles and bait ($15 for 2 hours). 


Sledding is permitted near the Derby Downs building from dawn til dusk. There are no sled rentals or park staff on duty. Sled at your own risk.  


Seasonal restrooms are available.

Non-Porter County license plates: Weekdays $8; Weekends $9.
