Creekside Trails
Trails for Bikes and Hikes
An addition to he parks system in November of 2019, Creekside Trails is a multi-use trail system that offers 12+ miles of soft surface corridors for mountain biking, hiking, and walking. The purpose was to create a safe and enjoyable recreational riding and walking area for Porter County within Valparaiso. Creekside Trails provides several scenic route options as portions of the trail travel along Salt Creek. The trails are open year-round but are best enjoyed April through November. Winter recreation is also encouraged for fat bikes, XC skiing and snowshoes, weather permitting. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times.
Admission & Hours
Creekside Trails is free to the public. A donation box in onsite, but a contribution is not required to utilize the park. Open dawn to dusk seven days a week, weather permitting. Night riding is not authorized.
