Love Valpo’s tree-lined streets and shady parks? You can help plant even more trees throughout the city by donating to the Valpo Tree Fund. Thanks to a matching grant from the Valparaiso Redevelopment Commission, every $1 you give will be matched with $2, up to $5,000. 

Why Trees Matter

Trees make Valparaiso a more vibrant, livable city. They provide shade, reduce flooding, improve air and water quality, and boost property values. They also make our parks and neighborhoods more beautiful. Our urban forest includes more than 10,000 trees, adding over $29 million in value to the community.
