General Guidelines
- All facility rental fees are subject to Indiana sales tax and non-refundable.
- If Valpo Parks must cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued.
- Individuals may reserve a Park facility. Such reservations require payment in full at the time of booking. All fees for facility reservations are non-refundable, and reservations are valid regardless of weather conditions ("rain or shine"), except in the event of cancellation by Valpo Parks.
- In the event Valpo Parks must cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, a refund may be issued at the sole discretion of Valpo Parks.
- All individuals or groups reserving an area are responsible for cleaning the area upon completion of their activity or termination of their reservation. Failure to properly clean the area may result in additional charges. Set up and clean up of any decorations/props must be done within your rental hours.

Nestled in the middle of beautiful Ogden Gardens, the Florence A. Dayton Gazebo provides the ideal setting for an outdoor wedding or the perfect backdrop for a special photo opportunity. The gazebo may be reserved for the current year and the upcoming year. Rentals are available spring through fall.

Rehearsals/Photos at the Gazebo
For those who wish to reserve a gazebo time for a wedding rehearsal, we offer discounted rehearsal fees.- Standard rental is for 1 hour $75 (no chairs included)
Additional Gazebo Guidelines
- No person shall bring or use any artificial petals, leaves, glitter, confetti, rice, fireworks, or tiki torches.
- Sterilized birdseed, native flower petals, lavender buds, bubbles, and bio-rice are allowed.
- Amplified music must be contained within the immediate area of the gazebo.
- The sound should not be clearly audible from the nearest park entrance, parking lot, or adjacent park amenity. Regardless of the decibel level, if the music is determined to be disruptive to other park users or neighbors, the renter must lower the volume or turn off the music.
- No person shall amplify sound using blowhorns, whistles, car horns, or any other type of excessive sound amplifying device.
- No person is permitted to use or hang any decorations that will cause damage to gazebo, or structure located at the gazebo.
- No person shall use chalk anywhere within the gazebo.
- No canopies or tents.
Facility Details - 3210 Campbell Street
Located at Foundation Meadows Park, the gazebo is surrounded by spacious lawn, maturing trees and a nearby fountain. The gazebo sits next to the Service Memorial at the Valparaiso Veterans and Volunteer Plaza. The Prairie trails make a beautiful backdrop for photos.

Facility Details - 645 Evans Avenue
This 5,000-square-foot building was the original 4-H building for the county fairs once held here. Keeping with the historical flavor of the building, the original interior and elegance remains, but with the added amenities of handicap-accessible restrooms, kitchen equipped with sink, refrigerator, and warming box.
Plenty of space for wedding receptions, graduation parties, group meetings, and entertainment needs.
The pavilion is a seasonal building that is open spring through fall (approximately). Please note, the pavilion is not heated or air-conditioned. Guests are advised to dress appropriately for the weather.
The pavilion may be reserved for the current year and the upcoming year.
Take a 360 tour: Butterfield Pavilion
- Please note that additional updates have been made to the building since the 360 tour, including new glass doors, new landscaping in the front, additional patio, and new black garden chairs.

This is only available to renters with a standard reservation. Early set up is not available on Saturdays.

Rental Fees Include
- Tables (There are 15 - 60" round tables and 32 banquet tables available)
- Up to 250 standard chairs
- Room will be set with tables, chairs, and trash cans/bags when you arrive
- Access to: standard size refrigerator/freezer, warming box (no meals prepared on site)
- There is an option to add white folding chairs for an additional $2 per chair, per day. (Must be done 4 weeks in advance)
Additional Guidelines
- Renters are required to do their own decorating as well as set-up/removal of all personal items. Valpo Parks staff will take out the trash.
- Decorations such as balloons (no helium), streamers, and enclosed candles are permitted, however you may not tape, nail, or pin anything to the walls, floors or posts.
- Glitter and confetti are NOT allowed.
- Caterers are welcome, or the renter may bring their own food. No food shall be prepared on the premises (but may be warmed in the kitchen)
- Security will be required for any wedding event or quinceañera (with or without alcohol). Security is also required for other events serving alcohol. It is $60 cash per hour and due when you pick up the key for your event.
Facility Details - 605 Beech Street
The Banta Center Activity Room offers a perfect place to hold birthday parties, showers, business meetings, and social gatherings. Located on the first floor of the Banta Center, it comfortably seats up to 72 guests. Rentals are available year-round.

- Caterers are welcome, or the renter may bring their own food. No food shall be prepared on the premises (but may be warmed in the oven if needed).
- Alcohol is not allowed at this location.
Facility Details - 1155 Sheffield Drive
The Welter Room is the perfect place for your small to mid-sized events including birthday parties, baby or bridal showers, funeral luncheons, or open houses. Located in the Clubhouse of Forest Park Golf Course, the Welter Room can fit up to 72 guests. Rentals are available year-round.

- Glitter and confetti are NOT allowed.
- Caterers are welcome, or the renter may bring their own food. No food shall be prepared on the premises (but may be warmed in the oven if needed)
- Alcohol is allowed but MUST be purchased from Forest Park Golf Course. During off season (November-March) alcohol must be order at least 2 weeks prior to your event. Alcohol is limited to canned beer, wine coolers, and seltzers.
- Between April and October you can have the option for open bar.
- Renters may NOT carry in their own alcohol.

This 122-acre park is one of Valparaiso’s premier facilities. Shady Grove is nestled perfectly in the grove between Loomis and Spectacle Lakes, the trees give a beautiful setting in nature for your event.

Kiwanis West and East Shelters can be rented together to hold your Wedding Ceremony and Reception. The patio on the West Shelter overlooks Spectacle Lake and the fountain. The East Shelter sits nearby at the West side of Loomis Lake.

Located in the heart of Downtown Valparaiso, Central Park Plaza has the capacity to host a variety of large events. Capacity depends on which rental you choose.
