Join Valpo Parks for the NEW Polar Bear 5K at Creekside Trails! This cross-country style race is fun for the whole family with a 5K course through the Creekside property. A rolling start will be utilized which will allow runners to start individually or in small groups of associated participants (family member or participants that live together) during designated times. Please be aware that the race will be in cold conditions, with possible ice and snow on the trail. Dress appropriately for the weather. Refreshments such as hot chocolate, water and other goodies will be available after the race. Run will be chip timed by T & H Timing.

- Fee: $30 , Event check-in begins at 8:00AM. Day of registration includes price increase of $5 and available online only until 8:00AM. Register by 2/13 to guarantee a knit stocking cap. No cap option saves $5.
Awards
Plaques will be awarded to the Top Overall Male, Top Overall Female, Top Male Masters and Top Female Masters (40 and over)
Age Group Awards will be presented to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Male and Female in each category:
10 & under, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
Pre Packet Pick Up: Will take place on Friday February 26th from 10 am - 6 pm at the Extra Mile Fitness Company, 1330 E Lincolnway, Valparaiso, Indiana 46383.
Due to the current health crisis participants are asked to pick up their race packets in advance. Additionally, because of the current COVID 19 pandemic will be limiting this event to 400 participants. We will be utilizing a rolling start for each race distance. The race course will remain open until 10:00 am.
