NEW this year at Rogers-Lakewood park, join us for a cross-country style race through beautiful wintry landscape.
Join Valpo Parks for the Polar Bear 5K NEW this year at Rogers-Lakewood! This cross-country style race is fun for the whole family with a 5K course through beautiful Rogers-Lakewood Park property. Please be aware that the race will be in cold conditions, with possible ice and snow on the trail. Dress appropriately for the weather. Refreshments such as hot chocolate, water and other goodies will be available after the race. Run will be chip timed by T&H Timing.
Register by 2/13 to guarantee a knit stocking cap. No cap option saves $5.
Event check-in begins at 8:00 AM. Day-of registration includes price increase of $5 and available online only until 8:45 AM. The race course will remain open until 10:30 AM.
Plaque awards will be awarded to the Top Overall Male, Top Overall Female, Top Male Masters and Top Female Masters (40 and over). Age Group Awards will the given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Male and Female in each category: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
